How Fees Work on BisaFund
No hidden charges. No surprises. We believe you deserve to know exactly where every cedi goes.
The short answer
BisaFund charges 5% on each donation, collected at the point of donation. A payment-processing fee is also charged by the payment provider at the time of donation; the exact rate is set by the provider and varies by payment method. Donations settle directly to the organiser's verified account at no extra cost.

Where the 5% Goes
BisaFund is a self-funded platform. Our 5% fee is what keeps the lights on and the trust going.
💚 Donors Can Cover the Fee
We believe organisers should receive as much of each donation as possible. That's why we offer an optional "I'll cover the 5% platform fee" toggle on every donation form. When a donor selects it:
- The donor pays an extra 5% on top of their donation amount.
- 100% of the original donation goes to the campaign — no platform fee is deducted at payout.
- The platform fee is collected upfront at the time of donation, so the organiser sees the full amount in their raised total.
This is entirely optional. Donors who don't select it pay the same as before — the 5% fee is simply deducted from the donation at payout time.
