What These Numbers Mean
Total Raised reflects the sum of funds raised across all active and completed campaigns on BisaFund. It updates in real time as donations are processed and verified.
Total Disbursed is the amount actually paid out to organisers via mobile money or bank transfer after milestone verification. The difference between donated and disbursed represents funds in escrow or pending payout.
Platform Fees are 5% of completed donations, reinvested into fraud detection, campaign verification, SMS/email notifications, and our support team — so the platform stays safe and free to use for organisers. Donors can optionally choose to cover this fee themselves at checkout, in which case 100% of their donation reaches the organiser and the fee is collected upfront rather than at payout.
Success Rate measures the percentage of campaigns that reached their funding goal out of all campaigns that have concluded (funded or rejected).
